Help wiring a V1 radar detector in my 8?

I have a Beltronics. The bracket from countryjoy is different. I removed the suction cups from the detector's bracket and thread the bolts through it instead. Nothing special.

I'm not sure how the V1 secures into that bracket. I've only seen the V1 on customer's cars that come into my shop. And I don't really pay much attention to them. (I've got work to do lol)

We have had several people claim their mirror is 3/4" and several claim 23mm. It must depend on the year and if you have homelink or not. I can't even remember what size I bought. lol Read through this. It's probably in there.

Thanks again for all the help guys! I went over to my folks yesterday and did the install... needed some tools/better connectors for the hardwire hehe. Only took about an hour after being meticulous about everything and how the wiring was tucked. Easiest car I have done this in for sure.
