Question Help - Stock Xenon to LED

hey guys i've looked throuhg most the threads and i'm wondering if it is possible to replace the actual headlight bulbs with LED's without removing the front bumper? It seems like it would take awhile to remove the entire bumper. Also, a piece of a leaf has squeased its way into my headlight casing, anyway to open and remove without taking off bumper?? thanks in advnace!

Where do you plan on getting LED's anywhere near the brightness (3000lm) of HID's?

You dont have to take off your front bumper I believe its just the inside panels...you might have to take off the wheels though for more room...not 100% sure on that though

GT's all have HID's. I think stock is 4300k. I avoid calling them Xenon's, as that name is ambiguous. Halogen bulbs can be filled with xenon gas as well.

Would it be easier just to buy Xenon HID Bulbs 6K Temp? You can even go up to 8k if you want. http://www.rotaryfx.com/product_p/lig1018.htm

Wouldn't matter, the dude already has HID's stock. Trying to figure out what he really wants here??? If he really wants just a different color HID then the rotaryFX ones would be the best option.

yes, just want different color HID's. wondering what is closest to LED color to match my side markers. i'm leaning toward 6k-8k however, i believe i need a conversion kit for the lights that are next to my low beams... i think those are just halogen correct? i don't think they are both xenon because they differ in color. I think i've figured out what i came here for. i've just NEVER dealt with HID or LED until i got my rx8 2 months ago. i gotta learn some how ha. thanks for the help. now i need to know best place to purchase HIDs as well as conversion kits.. hmm..

Most white LED's are 6-8kk. Which bulbs are you referring to? High beams? Inner parking lights? Turn signals?

Parking lights are low-wattage incandescent (not even halogen) bulbs, you would want LED's there. The fogs can take HID's or high-power LED's. HID's are much brighter.
Take a look at this thread:

Yeah, I think you are confused as to what you are asking, and what you think each type of lighting solution does.

the innermost lights are the parking lights(yellow-orange tint stock) those should/can be replaced with LEDs. The next bulb over is high beams, those are really bright high wattage halogen bulbs (LEDs come nowhere near this level of output yet). The next bulbs over are the lowbeam HIDs (High intensity discharge) LEDs will also not come anywhere near as bright as these. To the far right in the headlight housing you have the blinkers, these can be replaced with LEDs if you want.
Then you have the fog lights down below everything that can be replaced with a halogen bulb, a set of LEDs, or an HID conversion kit. The sidemarkers are just above the tires and these can be replaced with a bulb or LEDs as well.

If you do an HID conversion for the fog lights you'll need a kit which contains bulbs, a set of ballasts and a harness that goes between the two. You won't need to upgrade your stock wiring harness for that conversion either. I'd say do more searching
