Help with Shift Boot

I have a question. I just bought a Monster **** lol just the sound of that sounds funny. I also got a new leather shift boot with yellow stitching to match my cars color and interior. My question is does anybody know where you can get new shift boot insulation for the boot cause mine didn't come with any. People say to reuse the factory insulation but it was torn all to hell. Any suggestions or is it okay to just leave the insulation out?

You can leave it out(might be noisy, might not). Just take a piece of the old stuff with you, head to WallyMart or any Craft store and just get something that looks/feels like it. It ain't rocket science ya know.
Good luck.
