HELP ! replace stock amp & speakers
I am planning to replace the stock amp and speakers
1. 6.5 component speakers (F) MB quart
2. 6 x 9 speakers (R) MB quart
3. MTX 400 W 4 way channel
4. No sub will be installed
5. Using stock head unit
My question is when I take off the bose amp (replace with MTX) do I
1. Buy streetwires replace all the amp wires from the head unit and mount all the way back to trunk?
2. can I just pnp the MTX with the orginal stock existing amp wires n tht plug in the bose amp b4.?
3. How many w's is the stock amp bose located at the trunk?
4. Can the stock amp bose push up to 100 w per channel (assuming stock is 200w, the MB speakers are 120w max each.
YOur input is greatly appreciated! Thx!

You dont want the bose amp to have anything to do with your setup.. it forces some insane eq. Just go straight from the headunit (which in your case will be unaltered signals) to the amp.
