Question for HIDs owner's on 8500 HID
alright guys so.....i'm looking to get aftermarket HID convertion for my 8, i love the bluish color on HIDs so therefore im planning on getting the 8500k ones which has more blue, but are they safe? does anybody has a pic? of the headlight and the street showing how bright the light goes......iare these good?......http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT

First, the ebay link you provided is for a conversion kit, all you need is the bulb since you already have HID lights.
Second, I think the common consensus is that 6000K is the highest color temp (bluest) that you should go and still get enough light to be safe. Also, Osram and Philips are the only two manufactures that supply OEM bulbs to auto manufacturers, and both offer a 6000k aftermarket bulb (neither make a bulb higher than that though, as it's about the legal limit as far as light output and how blue the color is). I've read that the cheap 8000K - 12,000K bulb from ebay are very low quality and will not last long.

no, i have halogen lights, and i want to get HID conversion, the page i provided with they seem to have a very good warranty of 3 years..
