Help me choose my audio setup !

So I have the bose system in my rx8.
I think the speakers are decent enough that I can live with them, but coming from my last vehicle which had a crazy system in it.
I need more bass !
I've got a Kicker ZX1000 Amplifier which will put out more than enough power for what I want.
What I want help with is which sub woofer setup should I go with ?
I'm pretty stuck between these 3. And I'm pretty stuck on a 12"
I just want a single sub woofer, not duals.

12" Kicker Square L7

12" Kicker CVX

12" Alpine Type X

12" RE SX 12

These aren't the best prices I can't find. Just a link to the sub specs.
Thanks - Logan

I think the only real decision is the last 2 on your list, I am going to personally recomend the Type X - because I had one for a while untill I blew it up with improper crossover settings

Now I'm using 2 type R 10"s and I think they sound just as good as the 12 ever did and even better when it comes to "rock" bass because they have the kick the 12 just can't do... My next upgrade is going to be go with 2 type x 10"s and add another Alpine PDX 1.1000 amp so each sub gets their own.

but the RE audio is SWEET too! but why did you choose kicker over JL audio or soundsteam some other REALLY good brands like them?

also, what kind of box are you thinking of doing? the amount of airspace these kinds of subs need can vary greatly and it will matter how you are planning on installing them.

Well, I've been a kicker fan for a while =\
I know their stuff exactly top of the line stuff ...
I guess I've just had good luck with them ?
Its just such a hard decision haha.
I want all of them :P

Also I think im going to go with one of the zenclosure boxes off of ebay.
They seem to fit really good from what I've read on these forums.

I love 10 inch subs in sealed boxes. Nice tight bass. If you went with 2, it'd be louder then necessary. I'd go with round subs, not square ones. I don't think a square sub can put out the same quality sound as a round one, but that's personal superstition.

No recommendation on brand because I currently am rocking a 10" Rockford Fosgate Sub in a 4080 box. It's well balanced with the rest of my system anywhere from 60 to 120 db or so, and with the sub volume maxed, I can make it quite a bit louder then the rest of my system.

I'd go with the resonant engineering sub out of that list. I had an L7 in the past and it sounded like sloppy *** compared to more sq oriented subs. It was loud as all hell, but just didn't have the control that I look for. I think kicker moved away from their original solobaric principles when they went from the old school round ones to the L7 line. They did roll out a new line of round solobarics, but I'd be skeptical after the past several years.

I haven't heard the others, but RE has quite a reputation. They've made subs that play louder than most in their class and still able to maintain control under high output levels. I've seen people place their XXX line on par with SQL monsters like the Adire Tempest and Brahma, and the IDMAX. Most reviews from people that have heard them put them slightly behind the w7 but with quite a bit more SPL abilities.
I know you're looking at their SX line, but it should exhibit some of the same qualities of its big brother.
