Exclamation HELP! can't decide which amp to get...

Hey. I have one JL 12W3V2 (d4), a closed box, and a 1 farad capacitor lying around. they recommend anywhere from 250-350 watts driving the sub, and i would wire it in parallel (2 ohms total). I was wondering, what amp would be best for it? I am looking at the following:
  • Rockford Fosgate Punch P325.1 (325 watts RMS x1 @ 2 ohms, class AB)
  • Rockford Fosgate Punch P325.2 (325 watts RMS x1 @ 4 ohms (bridged), class BD)
  • Alpine MRP-M450 (400 watts RMS x1 @ 2 ohms, class D)

First off, for the same price, why wouldnt I get the P325.2 instead of the P325.1??? it seems like its more powerful and more flexible. One thing to consider is, could i drive 2 ohms with the bridged connection? maybe not?

also, while the M450 is in the same power-range as the others, i can afford the M650, which is 600 watts into 2 ohms. would this make sense because i can afford it, or would it be too powerful? my box is a little smaller than it should be, though, so maybe extra power would be a good thing?

OR, does anyone have any other amp suggestions? i see some JBL's that are in my power and price range, but i hear they arent as good as the alpine, fosgate, or JL amps. im looking for clean, good sounding bass, not some deafeningly loud and bad sounding bass. the JL 250/1 is nice, but i think i want a remote bass EQ adjuster, because the factory head unit doesnt do a good job with bass. also, it is a little pricey.

any help would be muchh appreciated. thanks!

I would definitely go for the JL 250/1. It is pricey for a reason. Plus that speaker was pretty much designed for that amp. Do you have Bose or Non? How you are planning on integrating it? You can always use a LOC that has a level control.

For a little over this price range try the Eclipse XA2000.
