ok so i'm planning on getting a Harrison R&D scan tool. But uh.... i dont know which one. Theres: OBDScan+CAN, OBDScanUSB , CANScan-USB, OBDScan, CanScan, and RX8 Enhanced Data Viewer software - Requires key file to unlock program.
I have a laptop i can use but i dont know which one to buy. if you guys could please direct me to the right product that would be awesome. Also can you explain to me what the enhanced data viewer software actually does? do i really need it? thanks a lot guys.

 

CanScan USB I think...send Dan Harrison an E-mail.....he usually responds quickly to your requests.

 

the rx8 uses the obd plug, but uses can protocol, so canscan USB is the one you'd want.
