Going to install Harman Kardon Drive Play 1 with PIE MAZ/PC-ALP

So most of the people have only been posting when they've been having problems with things. I thought I could help some people out by giving a review of my setup and maybe some pics. I already had the HK drive + play hooked up through the FM modulator but it broke so i got a new one for $30 online. I was never too impressed with the sound quality through the modulator so with this new one i am going to hook it up through the PIE MAZ/PC-ALP and ALP/M-RCA that i order this week from here: PIE MAZ/PC-ALP. I'm probably going to get it professionally installed because I'm no good at this stuff. I'll let everyone know how this goes probably sometime next week. Hopefully it all goes good

I have the same set up for my wife in her MZ3. Works soo much better than the FM modulator. Sounds really good.

I got it installed today! The sound quality is much better than modulator. It is perfect CD quality sound. I have the display screen where the ash tray would be and the lid still closes, and the control **** in the cup holder closest to the shift ****, with the ipod in the glove compartment. It's so awesome!! I can post pics if anyone wants them.

I did the same sort of setup. Here is the link to some of the pictures for it:

Did you do anything differently?

I did mine similar, but I didn't cut an opening in the ash tray lid so I can close it and have it completely hidden. I put the controller in the front cup holder and the ipod in the glove compartment. This way when I park my car, i just close the ash tray lid and slide the cover over the cup holders and it looks completely stock to peering eyes. I'll put some pics up tomorrow or the day after when I get a chance.

pics. I took them with my phone so they're not the best quality, but they do.
