Cool My Harmon Kardon Drive & Play iPod Setup

I recenly purchased a Harmon Kardon drive and play for about $100 and being a poor college student, I decided to set it up myself. I mounted the screen in the ash tray and wired the cable through the center armrest to my ipod in the secret compartment. The Drive and Play is plugged directly into my raidio using AuxMod basic, but there is an add-on that allows FM transmission.

The Screen displays the current song title, artist and album from the iPod

Like I said, I'm a poor college student, so I didn't really have the best tools to cut this opening, but with the correct tools, this could have been made a lot cleaner. Still, its not horrible.

This **** lets you change between songs, and select a new one.

I leave my iPod in the "hidden compartment". It fits pretty well and it charges while it plays.

Well, let me know what you guys think, please don't give me too much crap about the crappy cutting job that I did around the screen .

A little rough around the edges, but that's a very clever place to put the display. Nice job.

I actually tried to remove the frame and put just the lcd part where the tape player should be. Unfortunately the screen is a bit too big...

Sure hope that I Pod is heat resistant. It's awfully hot in that cup holder.

The ipod is in the hidden compartment, not the cup holder. Oh well...
