Glossy Cigarrete-lighter Compartment

i was going through a couple of pics and realized this would look AMAZING on my 8.
anyone know if there is a part like this ?

i know for sure that the new rx8 r3 have a glossy compartment like that

Look at the shift boot cover.. also glossy. This guy did it himself.

Bondo, plastic spoons, primer, glossy black paint, clear-coat and hours and hours of sanding.

The Shinka editions come with that. You CAN buy them separately but they're crazy expensive. (Like $260 if I remember right)

I suggest looking toward the Shinka owners and buy it off them. .... or a totaled one.

the series 2 rx8's have them glossy just order it off the net guys

yeah i know they do, but from the looks of it i doubt they will fit cause im pretty sure they're different shapes, the r3s are not as rounded..............i think ill just go with sanding it and painting it, thanks though

kane and rodjon, any more insight into HOW you did it? Doesn't seem like it'd be that hard, but I wouldn't want to just go start sanding and painting like a mad man either.

Maybe I should do mine in winning blue...
