I want to try to get a bose sail pod to replace my base stereo (since they seem easier to mod an after market tweeter into) but they are like 250 bucks a side with the tweeter, is there any way to get it with just the plastic? Any ideas what the part number that would be?

I would try checking with Mazmart, they're a forum vendor here who specializes in finding new homes for mazda parts.
go back up to the home page, look at the vendor list, click mazmart, either post a thread there or send a PM to Mazmart.
