derwankel, I respect your decision to put family first. Thank you for the great puddle lamps and other great things you've done for the rx-8 community. You'll be missed.

I have been inundated with folks wanting to buy the prototype. If Lotek is interested and the first folks who have contacted me are likewise interested in seeing it produced, I'll suggest the interested parties get together and have at it. I won't be in the middle. I'll only sell the prototype outright, it will be up to the new owner to pursue. Maybe something will come of it.

Gang ... the prototype has been acquired and the new owner is pursuing production. That's all I can say. Well, that and thanks for the kind words and best of luck to ya.
If you missed out on the puddle lamps and rear rotary lamp, look for my remaining inventory on ebay in the coming weeks.

Lotek is a good company that specializes in gauge pods. I have seen some of the ones they make for the Mazda 6--good looking factory finish pieces. I had bounced around the idea of pursueing this also --glad someone else is looking into this. If I can be of help--i will be more than glad--just let me know. I do know a few little "tricks" with the install. I was interested in a LHD feed replica.

Hey guys. I have had a few e-mails back and forth with Lotek. They seem more interested in building a gauge pod that will sit on top of the oem dash piece. I am trying to convince them to build us a piece similar to what Derwankel had designed. I have not heard back from them in a few days. I will keep everyone posted.
