Gauge Pod Hood

Anyone know what they cost or what the part number is? If they're cheap enough, I have a project in mind....

I'm talking about piece 5 in this diagram (taken from the shop manual, body section, page 393).

Thanks!

I emailed Trusseville a few minutes ago. Hopefully they have a reasonable price for it!

Just got this from Trussville:

"The Mazda part number is FE01-55-463-02. The list price is $79.45 and we
sell it for $67.53 plus shipping."

This is from Mazdastuff:
"FE01-55-463-02 METER HOOD $59.56 (#5 in the picture you sent)
Shipping by UPS ground in the 48 states $7
Total $66.56
State sales tax applies in Texas."

Now, here's what I'm thinking...how cool would it be to install a flip up screen that is directly above the gauges? Depending on the amount of room up there, you might be able to have it almost completely hidden with just a seam on the meter hood. I'm going to have to take my interior apart soon and see if there's enough room for a screen. I know in my Miata there would be.

I also have to figure out how to motorize it so it would flip up properly.

~ Matt

(EDIT: Mazdastuff price added...)
