I have had the "A" pillar partially removed and there is definitely an air bag in the "A" pillar.

I saw a guage pod on the Acosta motors site that is designed to fit where the NAV system would go. It is currently available for the right hand drive cars and Acosta said they were working to get it built for the US spec 8's. Dunno if or when it will be available. Seems like a better location than the A piller.

I agree, mounted where the NAV normally goes would be best for me.. even more so since I didn't spring for NAV when I bought my car

poo since I HAVE Nav I can't use those...I stil would like the pillar but I'm going to put Hymee's software running on the NAV screen for gauges then I can modify them to my liking :D :D :D
