Gauge & Boost Controller install questions
I am installing my GReddy Profec II Boost controller and my other gauges/wideband. I would prefer to use fuse taps for the power wires. I suck at wiring.
1. The boost controller says to connect the RED wire to a 12V Ignition Power source. Does that mean a Constant or Switched power source?
2. Is either the ACC (7.5 amp) fuse or the CIGAR (15 amp) fuse in the drivers side kick panel a switched power source?
3. Is the AUX PWR (20 amp) fuse in the driver side kick panel a constant power source?
4. Is there fuse in the driver side kick panel that can be used as a power source for when the headlights/running lights are turned on or do I have to use the Cigg light wire for that?
Also, does anyone see any problem with running 3 gauges, a wideband, and a boost controller on the same power source?

Here is how I am going to run my power wires.
Constant Power Source: ROOM Fuse or the Solid Green Wire for the driver side kick panel fuse box.
Switched Power Source: AUX Fuse or the White-Green Wire for the driver side kick panel fuse box.
Headlight Activated Power Source: Cig/Ashtray Light (Yellow w/ Orange stripe)

Now turbo!
What type of connections are you going to use? Soldering? Wire taps? Wire tees?
If you run gauges in parallel, will it make a notable difference in the brightness of the illumination?
Thanks for posting the colors and locations of the wires, BTW.

I wanted to use Fuse Taps for the Constant 12V and Switched 12V but it doesn't appear that is possible because there is not enuff room in the drivers side kick panel for a fuse tap.
That means I will probably try to use vampire clips (wire taps) on all three power sources. If that doesn't work, I will have to solder everything.
Not sure about the brightness until I can test it out.

No, the Yellow w/Orange stripe is not in the kick panel. Its the Cigarette/Ashtray light. There isn't anything in the kick panel that is activated when the headlights are activated.
