thanks! and no, happy to say there is no rattling from the sub none outside, inside, nowhere. Just clean bass. Although may i remind you it's not a super loud system, infact on some songs i forget it's there. then i'll turn the sub down all the way and realize that it is infact doing it's job haha. but i picked that spot and that sub for a reason, i wanted to stay lightweight because i don't want a showoff car. i want this to be my hybrid: the daily driver, and still be able to compete in autox events, midnight drags, etc. it would have been contradictory to just throw 2 twelves and a huge amp and all that. so it was either this set up, or none at all. and i'm very satisfied with it.

and i'm really happy with the fitment of the box. it isn't PERFECT, but it's not secured down it just sits in there. and it doesnt slide around or rattle at all.

I really don't mean to crap on your parade. I'm sure it sounds outstanding. Just pisses me off to see good people spend good money to get an install done and have rookies do a half-assed job.

Hard to tell from the low res pics, but looks like a particle board box.

Amp install could have been cleaner with basically no extra labor. I would have ran all the wiring to the far rear of the trunk (by the tire jack) , centered the hole up with the bottom of the amp, and then ran the wires tight against each side of the amp. Exact same idea and amount of work as they did, just would have looked cleaner. Again, just inexperience. Or they could have spent 5 extra minutes to raise the amp up an inch using the plastic grommets I know they carry as spacers, made a slit directly beneath the amp and ran the wiring through it and to each connection on the amp. (Like I did in my install, see pics in sig)

Just curious, it looks like the box should be moved down more to fit into the console groove. Notice the extra height at the top of the box. That should be even with the seats.

that's what i was thinking. i was curious if it could slide down into the little grove area where the bottom of the access panel hinged.

You have saved space by putting the sub in the middle and put the amp there? Have you even considered putting it on the back of the rear seat? Here is a picture of my amp, I am not pro at all. When I set mine up I couldn't even think of putting it anywhere else. I put the other two under the front seats.
Here's a pic of what I have done and where you should put yours. I have a Kinetik Car Audio Power Cell on the other side. Then you have trunk room and your amp is out of the way.

That Alpine amp looks familiar. I have to agree though, where's the trunk space?

With my current setup I still retain plenty of space. In fact I can still fit 2 collapsible chairs, 2 large duffel bags, and much more. I simply cover the amp and board with a towel to protect it.

Fiberglass box (custom made)

Is this more what people are looking for with a fiberglass box built into the original piece between the rear seats?

And one extra of my car since this is my first post
