Glad someone posted on this! I hope they offer this here...if not i'll be happy to import whatever the part is that allows this " Seamless iPod Experience".
Typically mazda uses the same electronic components in the US and JAP market, but with different factory configs...like how the backup cam software is in the US nav but is only offerend in JAP...hopefully this plays out like that...worse case...

Anyone have any info on this? The mazda site is still on 2005 cars.
Also, some reading I have done suggests that in 2006, the iPod support will just be in Japan.
