prepare for incoming flaming. Lots of people here hate these because they are "stickers".

Something very similar was done by a few local members here and the results were better then expected. The CF looks damn good on a White RX-8.

Let me get you a link...

Thanks, Jedi. The reason that I want this item is because on the interior carbon fiber would only be for asthetics. I wouldn't condiser totally replacing an item with carbon fiber unless it offered decent weight savings (hood, trunk lid).

no problem man, glad I could help.

Some of those kits are pretty good quality. I had an older Mazda 626 that I instaleld a smiliar kit on (wood trim finish, not CF) and the results were amazing.

I just looked at that guy's kit in the link. I don't like the silver carbon fiber kit. I would go with the gunmetal or the black cf. The silver just sticks out too much.

Ew. If that's the gunmetal pictured.... I'd go for the black if anything.

I'd be very worried that it would start to fade/peel/tear over time

I'm not too worried about it fading/peeling/cracking. It has a lifetime warranty against those issues. I bought the gunmetal kit, but if I don't like it I can just exchange it for the black kit. I will post up some pics when I get it installed.
