Earthquake Sound

Anyone have their products?

I was thinking about getting 2 of their 10" SWS woofers, or their Kompressor K-10 tube, which would eliminate my need to build/buy an enclosure

Photic,

For the most part I have really enjoyed Earthquake products. (Don't let their website fool you; it is a quality company)

The 10" SWS woofers are OK, but need larger boxes than what Earthquake recommends (see the review they link)

The K10 looks promissing but be careful of some of their claims. "6dB more output" is rather vague. I wish they had a more complete product sheet than what they have listed there. The tube is 1.2 cubic feet so it isn't small but should work well. Their slaps technology is first rate. If this box can handle 800 Watts AND go down to 20Hz by itself (not including cabin effects) then it could be a fantastic product and could get damn loud.

(Hopefully this car audio K-10 product is simply their home audio S-10 product in a tube without a built in AMP. Their home stuff is fantastic.)

Thanks Mr Wiggles,
Yeah, I've heard some good things about their home products. That's why I thought their car products might be good. I figured the tube would be a good solution, and it's price very reasonable.

Hi guys, I have both their F5x7 and F6x9 speakers, a small earthquake 300W.2 amp and one of their DBR10 subwoofers in a 4080 box. Overall they are excellent value for the money. The sound was dramatically improved after the speakers replacements, it is much more balanced and clean sounding now. Overall I have been very happy and the whole installation process was quite easy as well.

After more searching the K-10 appears to be discontinued, I would want to know why before buying.
