Question Single DIN dash replacement? R-Magic, Autoexe?

I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get one of the single DIN aftermarket receiver dash kits? I talked to Vivid Racing and to Jason Alexander....I even wrote an email to Japanparts.com and it seems no one has it. Does anyone here know who is carrying these parts?
Any help or direction would be fantastic.

Thanks...

Question

I'm not talking about the dash where the stock radio is...I am talking about the center of the top of the dash...where the center speaker is for the Bose speaker system. It has been mentioned on the forum before.

Ah... that's the R-Magic piece, and it costs an arm and a leg. Besides, it's glued onto the stock trim piece and fitment is not too good.
Personally, I'd only be interested, if the panel would be a complete replacement with the stock tabs and such, and for a sane price...

Thumbs up

What is insane is how much my local shop wants to charge for a custom piece...the 4 fo 5 bills for this thing is cheaper than 1200 for custom.

The panel I am working on presently is also in the $1200.00 range. Custom work like this takes time, skill and patience. The finished product is only as good as every step along the way.

Compare with the custom work, R Magic charges about $300-400 ...

Worth considering then.

Any success with Japanparts.com? Koji san there know about the product since I asked him a few times about it. R Magic is a easy get for him.

A single din is the standard size aftermarket radio. Thus a cd player or the flip out dvd / screen for example are both single din. A dvd / nav unit the Pioneer Avic N2 is a single din unit and will go into this vehicle.
