door speaker upgrade, maybe?
currently stock non-bose sound system and want to add the bose amplified door speakers, can this be done w/o too much work? will it work? searched w/o a clear answer.

You didn't search very much then. For starters, the two speakers are COMPLETELY different sizes. On top of that, the two headunits are different.
