I get a door buzz/rattle with deep bass fom volume 6 and up the buzzz is intermittent. All I can figure is that whatever's in there buzzing only resonates with very specific frequencies on specific songs. I'm on the verge of foaming the inside of the door with some sound-deadening stuff.
Took it to Mazda 6 times and it's still not fixed - man am I pissed - --- Silver 6 Speed GT ++++++++ NAV +++++

 

got the buzz fix - it's the insulating block - on the top portion of the door. It's clipped by two palstic clips making the noise + the block - use two-sided tape on the plastic clips eliminating contact with the metal = no more problem

Thank god. I figured that's what it was (my ear isolated it to the top portion of the door panel). The tech I was with insisted it was the speaker itself and wanted me to wait weeks for them to order one.

Insanity.

I'll take the door panel off myself and make the repair you mentioned.
