Something I just realized (never thought about it really) and it interested me... When you have headlights on and have it slightly dimmed (with the blue lighting), that's just blue lights being projected onto the already backlit surface isnt it? If so, these are my questions. I have all my interior lights replaced with red LEDs (after getting the RR footwell lights in red to match my red/black interior). Would it be possible to switch those out with red LEDs, and if I were to do that, would it cause any issues with being red? I know the red interior lights are a bit dimmer but thinking since the gauges are all back lit... And other question (which I can find with search most likely) is how difficult it would be to get to those lights...

 

ask lurch519 or rotary rasp. They are pretty much the know-it-alls on that shat.

It's one big *** project.
Like Patrick said................contact Lurch519 or do some searches..............I think his thread was called "I'm so blue". Try that as a search input. Lurch won't give up too much info because he used to do this for people at a charge....................don't know if he still does or not though.

 

yeah, I remember the blue thread... and if I recall correctly he replaced the backlights but not the projected lights. Though I'm sure getting to them is similar. Thanks for replies so far.

 

that would definitely be sweet. i have rasp's red footwell led's and a red lip around my rims, so that would go so much better with my scheme.
