Couple Speaker Questions

First off, my front driver and passenger speakers (the one in the lower door) turn themselves off randomly. This is the bose system.

I think it's happening more on the drivers side, if not exclusively...

Odd thing is, if I give the hand hold on the inside of the door a couple good hits, the sound instantly comes back for a while...

Second question is that I've read that in the rear of the car there are 6 x 9 sub woofers, which....I honestly haven't noticed. Where are they located?

Unless they are very quiet subs in comparison to the ones in the front, I don't think mine are operational.

Is there a relay or something going bad that could cause this?

front door speaker problem seems to be common, mine does same thing which is why the whole system is about to get scrapped and replaced, pretty sure they came to the conclusion it has to do with the cold solder connection on the top of the door amp going to the speaker (theres a thread or two about this), secondly the 6x9 speakers are not subwoofers they are just simply woofers for midrange subs are for the low bass notes and the rx8 does not come with stock subwoofers, they are located behind your rear seats under the window and can be seen from the trunk looking up easy test to see if they are working is to set your radio fade to R8 for full rear sound minimum front
