So from what i gathered... If I get the avic d3 and i want to have all the features (bluetooth, ipod, satellite radio, steering wheel control) I need

Ipod Adapter CD-I200.
Bluetooth Adapter CD-BTB200.
Avic D3 Steering Wheel Adapter.

Do i need any adapter of sorts for the satellite radio? Or do i just need the subscription?

 

you will need the sir-pnr1 if you can still find it, or the new pieces if they are available yet. im not sure of the part numbers as yet, havent seen them here

 

get the Avic D3x. (it comes with bluetooth and ipod).
i got mine for $756 - $200 Rebate = $556.

does anyone have a good clean shot of the dash bezel up close on the kits? Just wondering if it maintains the oem curvature, or if it is completely flat. The finish has me curious too, is everyone going piano, or has anyone done the other color yet?

 

I just went with the avic d3x... i'll be so happy when I can yank that Bose system out.

I've seen a few people have kept their bose speakers and not used to corksport harness, so i'm hoping it wont be too much of a PITA to wire it.

Looks like we backed them up in shipping a little. I'm totally ok with it shipping on the 22nd..... I can't see why someone would cancel their order because of a two week wait time...

Anyone using or know someone that has the Dual XDVDN8290? I'm looking at this one because of the built in Bluetooth (no adapter needed) and internal memory for the NAV (SD card). Not to many reviews out there though. CNet has a small write up on it but no rating.

So I was considering a much more expensive unit.... but I just found out that Circuit City has the Pioneer D3 on sale for $699 installed! Are my eyes disbelieving eyes correct? Am I stil eligible for this $200 mail in rebate?!? $499 for a brand new D3 installed??!!

 

pretty sweet deal if that's all real, but I would never ever in a guhzillion years let a circuit city installer anywhere near my car.
