JVC KW-AVX800 no navi but my car already came with nav.

 

My heat isn't fixed yet, but I now know what the problem is.

Because I live in the Netherlands, Corksport assumed I have an European RX8, so they've sent an euro HVAC box.

But I have a US RX8, so I need a US box. They're gonna send one to me

 

how do you like that so far? pros/cons? I'm looking at getting the same one for $525 including the ipod adaptor (shipped). And I have a portable GPS device, so I don't need nav functions on my HU

Does it not fit right? I was thinking of the 800 also but now the 810 is out. How are the button colors on the 800? do they match the lighting?

ok, thanks! btw, when you said 6.5, are you talking about powered subs or the screen on the AVX800? if so, I thought the AVX800's have 7" screen?

 

the buttons at the bottom are att/source/vol+/-/eject are blu but they match the
a/c thermostat good enough you can change the color of the wallpaper back ground mines red w/white letters matches gauges ..

 

no ,the 6.5 in TS-D161R PIONEER door speakers becuz theyr yellow fiber cone,
same type 6x9 in the rear .the jvc is 7in no power for center speaker but everything else is amplified and sounding good ,that radio has alot of control for
you speakers .

Even on the bose adptr and keeping bose speakers the jvc has amp gain adjstmnt
so it will limit the volume going to the bose amp(s) dont remember how many was in there .but sence I changed my rear and door speakers I ve turned the
control off so it gets louder than the bose set up.

Can someone give me some reason why someone should buy the CorkSport? Wouldn't it be cheapper to get your own custom made?

 

ac controls wont work with custom unless they do the electronics somehow, thats why the corksport costs so much

depends, mine cost a tad more, but it's custom fit/painted. (no spaces on the side, professionally painted) There are alternatives on the way as well anyway

 

What you mean it cost a tad more? To get it custom fabricated and do all the wiring without getting the CorkSport kit? Got pictures of yours?
