Carpet Cleaner for Headliner

I searched the topic and didn't really find anything definitive so I thought that I'd post this since it might help somebody. I purchased a used RX-8 a few weeks ago that was repo'd and then auctioned...wasn't taken great care of, but runs well. The headliner was really dirty and had a ton of spots on it. I tried a generic degreaser and didn't have any luck, so I tried some Target brand carpet cleaner this afternoon...it worked phenomenally. I sprayed it on a section at a time and scrubbed with a slightly damp rag and by the end it looked almost new. There are a couple very small spots where it is stained, but overall I would recommend this to anybody who has a spotted or soiled headliner.

fantastic
my sister ended up spraying coffee all over my face and the driver's side of the car + headliner so I was wondering if there was an easy way out to clean the headliner

Cool. Until now, everyone seems to like the Mr Clean Magic Eraser. Maybe give it a try on the spots that didn't come out?
