carpc screen fab work
Hey guys.
I been researching into the world of carpc's and love it! Thought gotta get me one of those. I've thought about all the available positions for the screen up front but narrowed it down to where the current radio fascia is. Yes, the corksport/kanatechs was an option but thought why not just try making something similar to it, how hard can it be(!). I bought myself a 2nd hand jap radio and just chopped away, then the long *** stages of the filling in and sanding. The pic below is where im at right now, i've angled the touchscreen slightly upwards. im pretty happy with it, first time ive tried something like it.

sorry if i wasn't clear in my post. i'll be using the corksport kit but just not the front face thingy they provided. i wanted my linitx 7" t/s to fit flush in the dash, thats why i made this up. the pic below is with 2 coats of gloss black, might add a few clearcoat layers to make it look like the stock piano black effect.
painted the rear emblems too while i was at it, not so great tho.
