Give Audison amps a gander as well...
The Dynaudio drivers are fantastic. But a little expensive.

I used some sophisticated test equipment to find reasonably priced alternatives. Tweeters and midranges are the heart of the system. You might look at :

I have tested the VIFA D19TD-05-08, ¾" Poly Dome Tweeter, And found it to have smooth response and excellent group delay, with a decent low end at 3KHz. It could be cut down to fit the door enclosure, but it is meant for the home and is a little big for a car.

At about $15 each, a real bargain compared to the $40 to $150 Morel.

Might work well in the door with the 8" Dayton:

This driver works well in a small space like the door, is reasonably efficient, and handles a whole lot of power.

Almost as good, the Audax TW010I1 3/8" TITANIUM COMPOSITE DOME TWEETER.

This driver can be cut down with a door hole saw to a very small form factor. At $7.5 it is a bargain, and has very good group delay. Although the high end is very good, the low end is a little shallow at 6 KHz.

Couple with a good midrange. The Vifa 4.5" is a good complement for the midrange.http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showd...number=295-545

At $4 it is a steal, but the efficiency is a little low (88 dB SPL, buy a big amp).
