JL subs RF pro series T3002 = 140+ db!
Did this install myself:
Extended faceplate, custom painted grills and amp rack cover over the trunk well. Stenciled and cut out the RX-8 on the cover.
Used black material from a fabric store to stretch over 1/2" plywood and particleboard for the box. 2- 10" JL Audio W1v2's, pushed by a Rockford Fosgate pro series T3002. Bridge mono for around 500 watts. Now i'm tightening down car rattles in the rear of the car! Sound quality is awesome in all ranges due to the amp control. So much low end, I have the bass setting on the stereo -1 to 1, depending on the type of music. The amp has an 18 db boost **** control, with a frequency boost **** adjustable from 35-90 Hz. A true audiophiles crank toy! Mounted it in the ashtray to keep it hidden. Adding aluminum red grill material behind the RX-8 cutout to match the speaker grills.
Tell me what you think. Thanks.

Bass Envy!
Sounds cool. I'd like to see some pics.
Maybe I can get mine to sound that good eventually. I have the same subs, but I'm having a problem.
Works great when only one it connected, but both connected sound terrible.
If you have any ideas, here's the thread.

Anyways, your system sounds like what I'm trying to acheive.
Congrats,

For two medium power 10", 140 is pretty high up there even for a small car like the RX-8.
More importantly for Sound Quality it is more bass than you should ever need.
