Blower fan fan speed control switch
A few months ago my fan speed **** broke where it mounts on the shaft. Ordered a **** off Ebay and installed, all good then the switch assy. fell into back of radio area.
Pulled radio and disassembled A/C control panel, the threaded piece that holds the switch in snapped off and switch is not available from Mazda. You have to buy the complete A/C control panel.
After much research found that a switch for a 2011 Mazda 2 ( HS-528) is a direct replacement for the RX8 for $30 or so.
Also door lock motors from a Mazda 6 work perfectly, and cheap too.

Update to last post. installed new blower switch, Two window motor gears and Mazda 6 door lock motors.
Everything working as it should now, can actually lock the doors with the remote.
