Big Rock Cracked my windshield
I was on the 15 freeway and there were a bunch of truckers and this big rock just hit my windshield, I didn't really I noticed any damage at that time.
So I forgot about the whole thing and then a few hours later I had a car washed, but still no damage and then I went home parked my car in my garage. Later that night when I was on my way to my car I noticed a big crack on my windshield.
So I called the mazda dealership and asked about the whole situation and he said it was probably the rock that hit me and when I had the carwash the windshield cracked due the cold temperature and my car being in my garage the whole afternoon (it gets pretty hot in their).
So any of you guys know where I can buy or get my windshield fix for cheap.

Depending on your insurance company, you may be able to get it fixed for free in your comprehensive coverage with no penalty (i.e. higher premiums) or deductible to pay
. I know when I lived in Massachusetts, my parents insurance company paid to fix my dads windshield anytime he got a rock (that eventually led towards a crack). He got 2 windshields in 4 months one year. If its a small, crack you might be outta luck, but if its reasonably big (4+ inches), some companies consider that a hazard to the drivers vision. I would check with your insurance company.

Massachusetts is not a good example as glass coverage has no deductible in that state, which is the exception to the rule.
My question, don't you have glass coverage of some sort ANYWAY? As such, what difference does it make as you only pay the deductible.
