TX Austin Audio Install

Just purchased XCarLink for my 8 and I was wondering if anyone in the Austin, TX area knows a quality install shop, as I don't want to take it somewhere to have it poorly installed, and I don't know enough about the installation to do it myself (or at least I don't trust myself). Any help would be great

I saw your car/profile on the TexasRxs Car Club site and I'm thinking of joining you guys on your next ride.

Hey Locals,

I'm from Austin and growing up here has spotlighted a few shops since I have been in the "scene". However, the top players these days now seem to be a bit douche. No heart and all money or get it done quick.

I'd really like to come out to one of the meets Canary. I did stop by the Manga meet last month but was like 30 min late from the posted meet up time. Everyone must have been inside but I had some drama going on so I basically sat in the parking lot counseling friends. By the time that was finished up my girl had dinner on the table so I took off...

As for most all of my installs, I did it my self with the help of experienced friends. Back in College I was pooow and saving money on install costs meant getting pimper ****. The trade off was logical and after my first car there wasn't anything that I couldn't figure out. As long as it didn't fly out while launching the car or start smoking I was good. It looked clean my cars never had any problems. A friend of mine did have a small smoldering/smoking situation from a pwr wire coming into contact with carpet. Funny story actually...

Fiberglass molding and the build quality that Canary has is not feasible however with out multiple things that I don't have. With in reason, trust in your self. If you ever install a capacitor to one of your amps, pay it a lot of respect.

I went to the TexasRxs meet today and we went on a drive through backroads to San Marcos, which was fun and a cool experience. I highly suggest you come as well Spencer, seeing as how there is a lack of Rx8s there these days.

Nice! Well would you able to make that monthly meet on the last Tuesday? of this month?

According to the website it looks like there is a tentative cruse on the 25th.

From what I hear, the monthly meet is just the two main guys having dinner haha. But I'm probably going on the drive on the 25th depending on when it is (cant miss a UT game if it's home). But if you want to meet up or something sometime just to do whatever, let me know
