Hi, just wondering if there is a program/plugin/accessory..whatever that I could plug into a car PC and get it to display vehicle dynamics like lateral G's, or do digital gauges? I got the JDM aftermarket NAV piece and LCD just came in today, can't wait to install the carputer. I know you could use the scanalizer program, but I was wondering if there was a better solution, one more suited to a small 7inch screen.

 

A Scanalizer only gives you information that the cars computer uses. I don't believe that would include lateral G's. A GTech Pro RR will recorded this information and then you can later download it to a computer for analysis.

Check out Innovate motorsports. They make a pretty nice and expandable datalogging system for a reasonable price. The LMA3 can log g's as well as 4 other parameters. The system can be expanded to log up to 32 channels by buying additional modules.
