Question Aftermarket Shiftknobs for an AT

Hey guys I am getting a little tired of the stock AT shift **** and am trying to find some replacement options that aren't too expensive. I know that the AT's and MT's have different threads, so what is the AT thread size, and what would look good and fit as well? I plan to get a shift boot to cover up the shift pattern plate since I've grown sick of it. Possibly a black or grey alcantara boot with black or white stitching. The only ones I know of that would be decent for an AT an not feel out of place would be the Mazdaspeed CF **** that's made for the Miata, the Rx-8 Rotary **** for an AT, and the Momo *****. Other than the Momo ones, the other two seem too expensive. Does anyone think a voodoo **** with an alcantara shift boot would be stupid on an AT? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Are you sure the Miata **** is an exact fit? It's nice but $150.... yikes. I haven't been able to find any non-oem ***** for our AT.

Thanks for reminding me about the Autoexe. Almost forgot about that one. I will probably be getting the black CF Autoexe one with a black alacantara shift boot with white stitching.

Don't worry, I will. I just bought sway bars, so I may wait a little to purchase this. Once I do, I'll be sure to put up pics.

Be careful the AutoExe CF adjustable **** will not fit without modification. Ive had mine for three yrs and I had to bore it out and tap the correct thread pitch into it, and I just finished doin it for a local friend here too, so far, as far as I know he and I are the only ones with this **** on the 8...

Try something unique perhaps different

I got an idea from a friend back in the late '90s when he had his Dodge Ram with a piston style **** shifter. I added a piston as a **** to mine and plan to license my plate as 1 Pistn just to confuse people and **** off the fanbois

That 1 piston makes up for 50 horsepowa!

Are those both the same ****? Or did you end up buying both by mistake? It looks like you just changed the height of the boot?

^^Here it is on an MT, as well as more info on it. I believe I have seen pics of it on an AT, but can't seem to find any pics at the moment.
