I wouldn't worry about it that much Rasp. As long as you dont drive cross-country or anything, it shouldn't be that much of a problem. Again, they look real good dude.

It's not very hard, removing the bumber only takes about 15 minutes. Give it a try and shoot me a PM if you have any questions.

Yeah, we could meet up some where this weekend or whenever, if you'd like. I've never been to any of the Fullerton meets.

There are many places where you can get an H7 HID. The place that I bought my HID fog lights from sells a H7 kits as well. The problem with using HID's for your high beam is that HID's have a start up time of 2-5 seconds. Therefore, they won't be any good for flashing at people because they can't start fast enough. Also, it is very hard on the HID ballast to start and stop the bulbs before they have warmed up. Overall, I think HID high beams isn't a great idea.

how about bulbs that look reasonably close to that colour.

HID high beams are way out unless you're intending to drive with it on all the way but risk dissing people off and having them slam the brakes or worse... getting pulled over by the cops.

Well, I wont have my car until the end of the month. Just moved here from Texas and was forced to leave it behind. Flying back the 23rd and driving it back. Maybe sometime after that ok? Maybe we can take a comparison pic to post so others can see... (my stock HIDs vs your 8500K HIDs)

I'm going through a tough time without my 8
