Okay you will need to use the provided screws to screw the under side of the center speaker to hold the pod. Which will pull the pod down to close that small gap. This is where your wiring for the gauges will go from also. I''m pretty sure that is how you want your wiring to go from and this way it dont show. So yea right now you just have it place on top of dash not installed. Once the screws pulls down the POd and dash surface will close that.

I would like to see installed pics before I make any holes. Please take some pics with this installed showing no gaps.

Hey fd3s777,

Looking at your installed pictures I still see gaps with the pod. Do you plan to rework the bottom to contour to the dash? If not then I'm not comfortable installing it as it sits now. You posted in other threads you will refund money for fitment issues. I would either like a new pod that is designed to fit the RX-8 dash or a full refund. Please let you know how you want to handle this.

i still think the Lotek is the best bang for your buck and there are no fitment issues.

I do not like the Lotek. Besides more options on the market the better.
