2 screws from under side of the speaker cover and some double sides. Wiring runs down into center speaker.

Looks like EVO-R is selling a flat black version also. Price is pretty good too. Might have to pick one of these up.

Yeah, good point. Also, I was thinking Prosport gauges, but they don't make a water temp in 60mm!? That sucks.

I bought the non-cf version and fitment is not good. The bottom of the pod is completely flat and the material is way too stiff to contour to the dash. I moved the pod all around the dash and there is no way to avoid large gaps. I sent a PM to fd3s777 the other day and waiting to hear back.

Can't say that I am surprised but that sucks. I guess now we know why the pics are only from certain angles.

It was one of the only 60mm 3 gauge pod on the market. I found another pod in Japan but it is a bit pricey. Hopefully this is a QC issue and evo-r can correct and send me a new pod.

Yeah it sucks they are so expensive, Thats why I went with the dual vent pod and the Good box. I also use the Hymee Scanalyzer on the laptop when i want to see 6 data points all on one screen.

Did you place like the way I show on the above post? You need to tilt it more to the right. If you place it dead center then it won''t flow with the dash. I have put them on 2 cars with no problem. Please email me photo or PM me.

Cool, how about some close up shots of how it sits on the dash piece. Kind of like the 5th piece you posted but closer up.

I will take a few more pics for you. But as I mentioned I moved it all around the dash and you can not avoid the gaps. The bottom of the pod is flat as a table.

He needs to take a 3/4 angle shot at face level to show the gaps. And then a pic from the other side to make sure a gap is not created.

Not the best pics but you can see the gap. It does not matter where it is positioned either. The base of the pod needs to contour to the shape of the dash.

So no comments on the pics I posted? Unfortunately even if the piece you take pics with fits it will not change the the fact mine does not.
