Hey Everyone,

I know this has been discussed before, but i'm not really comfortable with what info i have been finding, so i wanted to see if anyone has some advice.

I want to install the Universal Pillar Gauge pod off http://www.glowshiftdirect.com/Unive...illar-Pod.aspx. Has anyone had experience with this pod and if so how did the fitment and look turnout? Secondly can soemone just confirm if i will run into issues having the pod mounted on the pillar? I know the airbag is not in there, but does the pillar actually pop open or off when the airbag is deployed? I've heard answers going both ways on that and not finding an actual RX8 specific pillar gauge pod i'm worried that it might not be the best option even though i like the look the most.

takes too much effort to look at gauges.
top part of the pillar does pop loose.

I think the fact that no one carries an rx8 specific one speaks volumes. There are several nice options, from the racing beat ash tray one, to one that goes on top of the center dash (best option in my opinion and looks great) here is a link to one
