im trying to get my 12in alpine type r subwoofer into my trunk. i took the back seats out for the wiring first. Then i removed the whole back including the center storage and everything. STILL does not fit. iv seen people with 12in subs in their rx8. how can i get my sub in?

 

Just the sub, or the box you have it in? I know that Alpine 12's can fit

 

I've got 2 alpine SWS 12s that are going into my car. You can do it man!

 

I'd like to keep the box... But I think ill have to get a custom box ill be getting a quote in about a half hour

 

 

Rorschach do you have any pictures of your 2 alpine SWS 12s fiberglass enclosure? I'm trying to figure out what I want to do to my trunk. I had 2 10" subs in my last rx8 that slid around and was a giant pain in the butt. Thinking about going with one 12" or something custom that would give me more trunk room. Any thoughts would be appreciated

 

I actually scrapped the idea of a custom enclousre. Not worth the time or money lol.
