NY 04 rx8 --- USE 06 headunit?
can an 05? 06? 07? 08? Headunit be used? Are they interchangable?

Yep. But watch for Bose/Non-Bose. They are different. So match up with what you've got.

What are you trying to accomplish by swapping in a new headunit?
