Question Where did you get your fog lights?

Hey guys, I've been searching the net for a good place to buy the OEM fog lights that I can install on my 04 RX8... I've seen a couple of prices and most of them are at or around 270 bucks. Has anyone found a cheaper place online that still has genuine parts? Also, I'm not the whiz when it comes to wiring stuff but I have the common sense to build a computer so given that I can dig up directions somewhere to get these installed, should I try doing it by myself or should I have it done by a professional? I also heard some people talking about getting theirs ordered from Mazda directly for like 100 bucks? Is this just talk?

Thanks,
-Kainis

I've seen some on ebay for real cheap. If I remember correctly they are made by the same company as Mazda OEM's are.

I saw this item: link
but I don't know if I want to get that as I'm not sure whether or not it will fit my car. Also are these OEM or just cheap knock offs? Thanks for the replies so far...

AZPARTSEXPRESS is a reputable seller. The fogs they sell are OEM, but they only sell the blue and multi-coat tinted ones, not clear. But if you don't mind the blue tint you can't beat that price. I got my front air dam from this seller. Great OEM stuff for dirt cheap!

If you can find a set of used ones for sale on here you can probably get them for $50-60.

install is really easy. take off your front bumper, and there is the wires hanging right there. you will be able to see them.. the RX8 comes pre wired for fogs.. and to intall the new turn signal switch is also easy.. just take off the caseing for the stearing wheel and plug it in.. all together it will take an hour

sorry, I just got a pair from ebay yesterday. thank you for the offer anyways. Thanks to everyone who replied as well! :D

Anyone think these would look good on the Autobahn body kits?

50 something after shipping! Can't beat that vs the 200+... I was thinking about buying those too... Crazyness...

I just installed my fogs the other day. Was pretty easy after I found out how to interpret the OEM installation guide. Took me about 3 hours cause I had never removed a fender before (and interpreting the instructions lol). One problem though. When I went to replace the fender with the new fogs mounted, the damn fog light hold cover would not fit. I know it was mounted right but there was just not enough room between the fender and the oil cooler. I ended up taking it back off to get it to fit. Not a huge disappointment. I would think its better off without it that way the coolers actually get some direct air flow.

whoops. front bumper is what I meant... You can tell I'm not too savvy yet with the terminology.. I'm trying to learn more about cars... Ask me what the 7 layers of the OSI are and I can name those out no problem (Computer Networking). :P
