Nope, what you have circled is the parking light which is size 194.

I use LED's in there, but here's a DIY thread about how to get to them if you've never done it!

You got that right! I actually did it without really taking anything out of the way, although I did cause some hand damage to myself! It's tight in there!

And........NYCGPS, there is a thread somewhere(maybe a sticky) that identifies all the replacement bulb sizes. It may not say which are which, but it will say what the replacement sizes are.

You got that right! I changed my gf's parking lights and fog lights yesterday afternoon and that passenger side parking light was a bitch to get to and change! I have big fingers and hands and it took me forever to get in there to change that damn light!

I popped my hood couple days ago yea you'll need to take the ECU cover off if you want to replace that passenger side one ...

Im thinking which one should I get. like what color and how many leds.

Do they last long ? Im lazy so I dont want to replace them every 2 months. Oh also, I know they're the right size (194?) but are they at the right watts ?

depends. it gets awfully hot in there. not sure if it's the heat or the voltage that causes them to go out, but some people who changed them out had one of them go out before.

I'm on my 3rd set of those lights. The first two were P.O.S. autolumination bulbs so I blame the quality.

this last set I got from vleds and they seem to be holding up nicely. ***knocks on wood***

I've been running LEDs in all 194 locations around the car for some time and have had them go out all over the place. I don't think it's heat so much as small spikes in voltage (AC coming on, stereo, etc). Autolumination sells "LED protectors" that you splice into the power wire that regulate voltage. Since I've done that I haven't had a failure. Of course this adds a bit more work to changing your parking lights out, but if you want the LED look I think it's worth the hastle. Here's a link (about half way down the page):

http://autolumination.com/equalizers.htm

As far as bulbs go, V-LEDs is the place I get all mine. I use the SMT 5 in my parking light spot (as well as rear plate light and interior lights):

In my clear corners I use the SMT 9 (tried these in my parking lights too, but the extra side firing LEDs don't add to the light output.

921 bulbs have the same base as 194s and may or may not work depending on the size of the housing and hole. I know 921 bulbs will work in the clear corner and I think I may be able to get them in the parking light also. I'm going to order a couple of these and experiment:

These can all be found here:

Before adding the LED protectors (which I did get from autolumination) I had probably the same failure rate with both autolumination vs v-led bulbs, but the autolumination bulbs looked a bit cheaper and the colors never matched, order a bunch of white bulbs, one might look a tad green, one a tad purple, one a little blue, one really blue. Every white LED that I've got from V-LEDs has been exactly the same color and they look to be better built. Also, for example, they sell the same SMT 5 bulb that V-LEDs does, but they are $8.99 EACH! V-LEDs sells them for $9.99 a pair. Do the math. But I still get random stuff from autolumination, I just picked up some little LED strip lights that I'm going to use for footwell lamps for only $4.99 (surely not as bright as RotaryRasp's, but I want them to be on whenever the lights are on so I was hoping they'd be a little dimmer.)

V-LEDs all the way.!
Have had them in over a year and haven't lost a one.

Think I wrote in on another thread somewhere, but here's what I have done so far.

Parking lights.......white 6 LEDs

Clear Corners.......white 6 LEDs

Door Courtesy lights.........blue 6 LEDs

Map Lights..........blue 5 refractor LEDs

Rear Dome..........blue festoon/LED

Glove..............blue 6 LED

Footwells, have two blue LED circuit boards each side(driver and passenger), these are a little more subtle that what you've probably seen.

Inside Trunk.....white 6 LED

License plate......white 6 LED

Brake lights........18 LED 7440/7443 red

Back up lights.........18 LED 7440/7443 white

Next up, I'm after all the dash and radio leds to blue, but that's gonna be a bitch! Unless I get Lurch to do it!

I think that's it unless I forgot something?

Well, I did do the fogs with Hoen H11's too! Yes, I am sick!

I also have the RX8Strakes Stealth brake light.

oh.........I just put two of RotaryRasps blue circuit boards under the rear of the front seats.

Will any of these LEDs overload the wiring harness ?

Sounds kinda silly but my father's old van had burned some wires out before just because of that.
