Now that I've got a car that's worthy of them, I've been thinking about it. However, the sports car enthusiast scene says they're "Played Out" and "Ricey". Which draws me away from doing it. I don't want to be the point of ridicule of some riced out civic with a fart can. I do care about what people think sometimes, it's one of the reasons why I don't go to Target in pajamas.

Either way, what do you guys think, are they too played out or still okay?
if you want lambo doors, get a lambo

Careful with that joke, it's an antique!

I'm not looking for doors with the Lambo badge on them. Just the style.

I think that may be just a little bit over the top.

Anyone have thoughts about Bolt-On versus Weld-On kits? The weld-on kits seems to look better, and open wider, but the easy reversability of the bolt-on is appealing.

What's your 2¢?

I think most of the weld on kits will allow you to go up to 90 degrees depending on the kit I imagine.

Anyone else have opinions on bolt-on versus weld-on kits?

the lambo doors weren't invented for looks, the original lambos were too wide to have normally operating doors so they made them go up so the driver could get in and out of their car while in a parking spot, I don't know about you guys but the way people park in the two cities I frequent makes me wish I had lambo doors every day not to mention they look really awesome if done right...

get them.

I've hated them for years.

But you know, they are growing on me. The practical advantages are too great to ignore, and I would consider them if I'd fulfilled all the other mods on my wish list.

People will either love your car or hate it, but if you do it nobody will regard it with ambivalence.
