Thanks for all the great opinions! Keep them coming.

MM, I really like the way your vert doors look. Mind letting us all in on what kit it is? It's probably custom I'll bet.

wow, mm's pic just moved these up my list!!! w/ the right kit and wheels, and the right door kit...it looks amazing!

i do like how his seem to go up and flare out some...whereas that civic in the pic is just straight up in line with the side of the car.

Honestly, lambo doors look like crap! On a little sedan of course! LOL. They look really good on MazdaManiacs RX8 though. Some cars can pull it off, some can't. RX8s CAN. =]

I think its recommended every two years or so. You will feel the shock lose its strenght.

I don't know if I could settle for a bolt on kit. Most of those only go up to 65%. Might be more difficult to get in and out of.

Oh without a doubt. I think if more people saw that, they would change their minds to.

Just wish I knew what kit he was using to price compare. Bolt on kits are cheap, but they don't open very high, usually 65 degrees or less.

The polls are neck and neck, they're still open till the 4th of next month. Not going to base my entire decision off the poll, but it's like mid-term exams. It counts for a lot!

MazdaManiac has the GT Factory Lambo Kit If Im not mistaken. But like any kit, you want professional installation just to be safe. I've seen his car in person, and its pretty amazing. What impresses me is the set-up he has under the hood

Yup, you're right. After visiting the GT Factory website, you can clearly see the factory logo on MM's hinge there. They look very tight. That kit is worth saving up for. I have a, from what I've heard, good custom car shop locally, might get a quote for installation.

Yes - GT Factory. Mine is one of their very first universal systems from 2005.

i've had vertical doors for 3.5 years and have never had to replace the shock.
it really depends on how much money you want to spend.

Its more a function of use and heat.
If you live in a place with big temperature swings and you DD your car, the shocks won't last as long.
