I don't like a lot of our kits too much, but I DO like the RX8 kit. The D1GT kit is pretty nice in my opinion.
There is only one guy who designs the kits... President Yokomaku.

I don't know of any oval emblems that we have.
Windshield banners were never discontinued, we just have had a hard time getting them made... but not they are done and ready.

On a sidenote - brian what do you reccomend doing about the melting tips for the D1GT rear for people who have "other than stock" exhausts?

I suppose with the urethane rear lip, you could try to fabricate or buy a metal heat shield to put on there. I know that some aftermarket ones exist. sometimes they offer carbon ones... other than that....i don't know what to tell you.

banner - order direct from us or order from one of OUR dealers. It's going to be boxed up by me anyways....

hey i just have a question...i just PM'd one of the forum vendors about the D1ht body kit and he said veilside does'nt make urithane body kits... i was under the impression that's all they made. i have the MS front facia made out of fiber glass. It looks great but it's fragile as hell. i just hit some crap on the highway and it cracked the bottom left corner of it ... so now im looking to get either the V.1 or D1GT body kit.
thanks in advance

thanks guys...i've had some bad luck with my fiberglass kit recently and vowed now to get another. i think Urethane is the only way to go if your ride is lowered.

i agree....but when looking at JDM kits...im told that most are made in frp unfortunately...

so, if you want the hawt lookin body kits you have to compromise unfortunately...

Making a full bumper out of Urethane is pretty much NOT going to happen.
Urethane is pretty heavy and it is really flexible. Put those two together and you will NOT have a good full bumper.

Our D1GT kit is full FRP fiberglass. We offer a warranty with all our kits though. If you break anything for any reason, you can buy a replacement for 50% off. Find me anybody else who does that. A fiberglass kit is probably going to break at some point for sure, no matter who makes it. So, the fact that we offer this warranty is pretty rare I think.

The version 1 kit is urethane. It is much "stronger" than the FRP. But just ask anybody who has one, they are heavy and flexible.

I hope this helped with questions and concerns.

Let me know what I can do!

thanks for answering my questions... I did'nt think urethane was heavier... i'll have to get back to you towards the end of june when you guys get some more kits in. one concern- is the rear bumber complete or is it just a bottom peice that you have to mold on?

rear Version 1 lip is just a add on lip

chrism - glad you enjoy the products. Good to know there are people who bought the real product and can tell others that it is durable!
