The front airdam from my rx-8 was recently stolen right off my car one night. F*@#ers!!!!!!!!

But anyway i have to get a new one and i was thinking about getting the front lip of the Veilside version 1 bodykit. For any who have not seen it go to the bodykit link on the forum and check it out cause it is SWEeeeT.

I was wondering if there is anyone on this forum who has it. I want to know how low to the ground it is.

Is it lower than the stock airdam. ccause i dont want to get it if it looks stupid without the whole kit.

If anyone knows the answer to my question please respond to this...:o

Don't think anyone has it, but take a look in the Appearance/Body Kits forum, or do a search on Veliside like this.

I'd have to go with, a bit excessive on the Veilside front end there...

I really like the front air dam to begin with though... I wish now I woulda thrown down the extra $ to finance it vs. tryin to save to get it separate...

The V! kit is not available until mid april from Veilside. I've called them for repeated updates on its release.

No way! Someone gaffed it! There are 2 Veilside kits for the 8, are you getting the one that looks like a lobster? Someone was going to buy that one, but I don't remember the username, I wonder if he ever got it.

i am trying to get the veilside version 1.. i forget the name of the other one, but the only thing that is stopping me is that i dotn know how low it will exactly be... Since i am only getting the front i dont want the front to be alot lower than the rest.. that would look stupid

The Veilside front end is "low." I wouldn't do it without sideskirts and something in the rear as well.

Anyone tried to fit the front rotary accent together with the Veilside front lip V1? It looks like it should fit...

+what you guys think of the cobination of Veilside V1 front lip, Ings sideskirts and something else for the rear... :D Someone maybe has a picture of it, or similar?

Went for the other combo, INGs front and Veilside GT sides, works well. I'd imagine the other way round would be ok too. As long as the front and sides (and rear) end up at approx the same height then it should be ok.

Not a huge fan of the V1 kit, bit too snow plowish - but then thats just MHO.

Go for it if its what you like.

If you decide on a rear let me know as I'm still undecided what to do, have the standard rear spats at the moment, but it does need something to finish it off.

Ok,,, So I can´t find a descent pic of the Veilside Front Lip V1 from the side... I want to see how much of a snow plowish look it has....? Can anyone provide a pic that shows it???

I saw an Rx8 that has that lip in black, but he only has a front view of it. I did a search for that lip everywhere and I cant find out how to get one. Anybody know where I can get the Urethane version of this lip for cheap???

Ok, so I think I finally have decided my custom bodykit... (hopefully... :D

I´ll go for the Veilside V1 frontlip, the Mint Blue side skirts and finnish it off with OEM back bumper with Mazdas rear under deflector,,. (I may do some own smaller work on theese if the don´t finnish it off nice. Have no idea what though)
Let me know what you guys think of this combo (or if you have any other ideas of the under deflectors)

Go for it! Sounds like it should work ok, the picture above (first one in red with the Veilside V1) has your original request, Veilside lip, INGs sides and spats. Looks nice too, but I do like the Mint Blue skirts. Gets my thumbs up!

...problem is I like the rear stock and would like to keep it that way. I´m still looking in to other kits amongst the Racingbeat one, but not the front. I still want to keep the front stock and only add a lip to it at the same time the rotary accent are kept. The rear deflectors from Racingbeat are really nice and the side skirts also. But I can´t see it with the Veilside lip... don´t think it would look good.

So... here´s what I´m looking for: A front lip wich allows me ot keep the rotary accent, side skirts that match the front as well as the OEM rear under spoiler and rear deflectors to match the side skirts... :p :o :D
