Well I was looking through the lighted rotary accent thread and had an idea for a neon underglow kit. Would like to try and have it light RX-8 on the ground along side the car.

I've never installed an neon underglow kit and didn't know if this would be a fesable mod to try.

People already have neon underbody kits on their '8. I don't know who it was or what exactly you want to do, but it is feasible.

 

Ah. I misread that. Probably neon wouldn't be the best idea. An omni-directional light would be better. A single cut out per bulb might work (in my head) if it were close enough to the ground. Go look at how they make those pattern lights you see in clubs and concerts. Mimmic those.

I think it'd be useful at a show. Instead of having one of those mirrors with the name on it, or a little placard, just have a light shining down beside it. One less thing to carry, yeah?
