I had to modify the harness, but it was easy. I just chopped off the stock ones and crimped on some $2 connectors from Radio Shack. Its only 2 wires, so its not too complicated.

I couldn't find anything about the maxima, but i'm willing to bet that it's auto leveling too.

i just talked to them, they said they both have manual adjustment, but no autolevelling...hmmm...

what k is the stock HID?
how can i find out if i have HID? i think i do but i want to verify.

I believe stock is 5000K.

Do your headlights have a more white with a hint of blue look (HID)? or yellowish (halogen/non HID)?

Stock is a 4300K D2S bulb. You can tell if its HID by the way the lights turn on. If they flicker when you start them and slowly change color as they "warm up", you have HID.

Yes. I did it, and the easiest way is to get on eBay and buy a set of HID housings.

Did you go to your dealer to have them installed? Or a pro? Looks difficult.

You can't go wrong with Ebay. If you cannot find it anywhere, try Ebay, plus it's cheaper than others.
